"If you fall behind, run faster. Never give up, never surrender, and rise up against the odds." ~Reverend Jesse Jackson

Most of us watched Super Bowl XLVII last night. I was especially excited about watching it because this year's venue was at home for me. It felt good to watch New Orleans all week from the most of the media outlets. It was especially great to watch last night as the game was played in the Super Dome.
Everything was perfect, wasn't it.....that is, until the lights went out! Unexplained. Unexpected. Unimaginable. Maybe even unacceptable! But it happened, and right before a world's stage.....right in the middle of all of that momentum, action, and energy!
What do you do when the lights go out in your life's situations?
The best thing NOT to do is begin blaming others. Yes, it might be another's fault for some things, but you can't let that stop you from reaching YOUR goals. If you get stuck in the blame game, you will never get anywhere. You have to roll with those punches and keep it moving!
The winning team last night could have lost their momentum and lost the game. The losing team could have lost momentum as well, but they didn't. They came back and played like a different team. A better team. They didn't win the big game, but they came very close.
Don't lose YOUR sight when you find yourself in TEMPORARY darkness. You still have vision, and not even a power outage can blind what God has already put inside of you....in front of you...beside you...or, behind you! Continue to move forward and rise UP against the odds.
You are a super winner!
